Palmetto Surety Corporation returns in excess of 5% of the company's net income annually to community programs that directly and indirectly benefit local communities within the state.

A primary goal of Palmetto Surety Corporation is to ensure that money made in South Carolina should stay in South Carolina. Palmetto, along with its board of directors, staff, and agents, have established a community services program that is administered by the Agent Advisory Counsel and supports such Judicial System initiatives asThe Drug Courts, Pre Trial Intervention Programs, and Work Release Programs.

Some Palmetto Surety Corporation contribution recipients include: Muscular Dystrophy Association, York County Drug Court, Crisis Ministries, Modern Youth Athletic Association, Chamber of Commerce, Sheriff's Association, Charleston County Sports & Recreation, Star Mission, Young Life Youth Mission, Charleston County Public School District, Crisis Chaplaincy and Bishop England Student Athletics.
